This original artwork is part of the “Presence of Nature 2020” Series.
This body of work tells the story of beauty arisen from devastation and darkness, relating to the 2019-2020 Australian bushfires, so very close to home here on the South Coast of NSW where I live. It’s a story of light, hope and nature’s strength. I find the visual elements of the devastation from the fires beautiful. Looking past the story of destruction and sadness, I see nature’s incredible power to create change (whether we like it or not) and the immense beauty of deterioration. Bring the strength of nature into your everyday life with this artwork and enjoy the power it gives you, knowing what falls will rise yet again.
(Would you like a set of two? This artwork is a great match to the artwork “When the Ash Falls”)
